Surgical services: We schedule surgeries weekdays and utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. Using the most modern monitoring equipment, the patient's vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures. Radiology: Our on-site X-ray equipment provides high quality radiographs to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders. Ultrasound is available by appointment with a board certified specialist. Internal medicine: We offer in-hospital procedures as well as referrals to an internal medicine specialist who performs ultrasounds and endoscopic procedures, which help us diagnose more complicated cases. Laboratory: Our in-house laboratory provides instant serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing. We also utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialized diagnostics and consults. Those results are available in 12 to 24 hours. Dentistry: Our dental services include ultrasonic scaling/cleaning, polishing, charting, extractions and minor oral surgery. Boarding: We provide pet boarding as a service to our clients. All boarders receive personal attention from our caring staff. Pets may be dropped off and picked up during regular business hours Monday through Saturday. All patients must be current on vaccines, free of external parasites and healthy to board at our hospital. Pharmacy: We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals including antibiotics, pain medications, flea and tick control and heartworm preventatives. We also carry prescription diets for Hills, Royal Canine and Purina.
